With a strong foundation in the fruit and vegetable export industry and a background in finance, Michiel John van Niekerk has developed into a dynamic professional in the logistics and supply chain sector. Born in Paarl Medi Clinic and raised in Wellington, Michiel John grew up immersed in the world of agriculture and trade.

After completing primary education at Laerskool Hugo Rust and high school at Huguenot High School, Michiel John graduated in November 2020. He initially worked in the liquor manufacturing sector before transitioning to the Fruit Export industry in June 2021, focusing on distribution and marketing, particularly with China. This role involved importing various agricultural products and exporting grapes and citrus to the Chinese market.

In 2022, Michiel John relocated permanently to Paarl, and by July 2023, joined Red Wolf Global, driven by a passion for the logistical aspects of the import and export business.
