Red Wolf Global Sends Regular Personal Air Consolidated Shipments to East Africa
Red Wolf Global has been successfully shipping regular air consolidations of personal effects and other cargo to Kenya and Tanzania, working with partners on the destination side of the business.
The cargo is first shipped from various origins in North America to Red Wolf Global’s road logistics hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. From there the cargo is consolidated and trucked to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, approximately 253 miles / 407 km to the southwest. The total journey takes about four hours and crosses three states. Hartsfield-Jackson is the primary international cargo airport hub in the United States southeastern region.
From Atlanta the cargo is moved by air to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. Nairobi is the capital city and largest city in Kenya, and a major commercial center in the dynamic six nation East African Community. And from Nairobi the cargo is distributed to consignees throughout Kenya.
The cargo has been regular but during the Covid 19 pandemic in early 2020 the business expanded from Nairobi to the Zanzibar, Tanzania.
As with the Kenyan bound cargo, the Zanzibar consolidation ships from Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta to the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport on Unguja Island. Various airlines have been used for both routes but the following were the most used:
