Red Wolf Global Ltd recently moved a water well drilling rig and carrier on behalf of an Australian associate.
The cargo began its journey from Souksavanh Village, near the Khamouane provincial capital, Thakhek, in central Laos on the Mekong River, across the river from the town of Nakhon Phanom in northeastern Thailand.
The rig and carrier were successfully transported to its new home in Balikpapan on the eastern seaboard of the Indonesian island of Borneo.
The drilling rig that was transported is a Desco SP4500 which is used for both boring water wells as well as geothermal drilling. It has a depth of 300 m.
The equipment was laden on board the Singapore flagged X-Press Kailash from the main Thai port, Laem Chabang, and delivered to Balikpapan.
